Distribution to 86 countries: Book Amazon Your Business generates more business in sustainable forest products from the Amazon

Publication of the book Amazon Your Business / Opportunities and solutions in the rainforest has resulted in huge visibility of the incentives of a sustainable forest economy in the Amazon. After its release in June 2007, the book has been distributed to 86 countries. Amazon Your Business has generated more business in sustainable products from the rainforests in the Amazon. It contributes to growth of a sustainable forest economy in the region.

  4. Second, extended prints of English edition and Portuguese edition.
  5. Around the globe, Amazon Your Business is regarded to be a valuable source of information on the development of a sustainable forest economy. The strategies and concepts which are presented in Amazon Your Business can be applied in forests around the world. Amazon Your Business is being used as a reference book in South-America, Central-America, Eastern-Europe, Asia and Africa.
  6. The Organizing Committee of the Global Assembly of the Club of Rome in October 2009 in Amsterdam has adopted the book Amazon Your Business and has presented all speakers with a copy.

    Parabéns senhor Meindert Brouwer,

    Moro no Brasil especificamente em Rio Branco no Acre. Fico surpreso e ao mesmo tempo feliz em saber que pessoas de outros países estão se preocupando cada vez mais com a floresta amazonica, mostrando novos conceitos e alternativas sustentaveis, até mais que nós próprios brasileiros. Confesso que não lí o livro mas, chego na Holanda dia 15 de dezembro e vou procurar a versão em portugues antes de viajar, se tiver irei adquirir, para aproveitar o tempo vago para ler.
    Nos Amazônidas, assim como somos auto intitulados, as vezes não nos despertamos para a imensidão e a importância da floresta a todo o mundo, mas acredito que assim como a humanidade moderna dos países desenvolvidos evoluiu, nós também podemos aprender e evoluir positivamente.
