Publication of the book Amazon Your Business / Opportunities and solutions in the rainforest has resulted in huge visibility of the incentives of a sustainable forest economy in the Amazon. After its release in June 2007, the book has been distributed to 86 countries. Amazon Your Business has generated more business in sustainable products from the rainforests in the Amazon. It contributes to growth of a sustainable forest economy in the region.

Distribution of more than 8000 copies to 86 countries in five continents.
Global multinationals have ordered the book. At least 16 new entrepreneurs in Europe, USA and South-Africa are interested to do business with Amazon producers, some have started already. A number of Amazon producers in the book have expanded their business.

The Global Leaders Academy has presented the Dalai Lama, Dutch business leaders and opinion leaders with the book Amazon Your Business at its conference Leadership for a sustainable world Friday June 5 in the Hague. Among them Herman Wijffels, former Trustee of the World Bank and Ruud Lubbers, former Dutch Prime-minister and co-author of the Earth Charter.

WWF presents parliamentarians in South-America and Europe with the book Amazon Your Business

Worldwide Fund for Nature WWF in the Netherlands has presented 32 South-American and European parliamentarians of the new Euro – Latin American Network of Parliamentarians for Development Effectiveness with the book Amazon Your Business. This network was launched May 27 in the Hague, the Netherlands and had its first meeting May 28 in the historic former House of Representatives. Secretary of the network is Dutchman Dennis Petri of the Paris office of the Inter-American Development Bank.
